New Sister Card

Good morning... just a quick post from me today...
Another baby has arrived... seems to be lots
of babies at the moment... A beautiful baby boy...
Here is the card I made... I had a go with the promarkers...
I know the shading isn't that great... need more practise!!!

And then the card for his big sister...
Kacey wanted to name him
Michael Jackson... but Mom and Dad agreed on Jaxon...
What a lovely name for a beautiful baby...

Again I used the promarkers...
more pleased with this one...
but definately need more practise...
Anyway... congratulations to Sarah and Lee...
and of course to big sister Kacey...
you will be able to teach your little brother
some of the Michael Jackson moves when he gets bigger!!!
Have a wonderful day... off to work

Workdesk

Good morning... just about... I sat down nearly
an hour ago to write this post...
just completely useless when it comes to computers!!!
I have been wanting to join in with WOYWW
for a while but just can't suss it!!!
But as I am home with Sam
(he was poorly on Monday evening
and can't go back for 48 hrs)...
I thought I would be able to sit and have a
look at it... I still can't do it!!!
However I still wanted to share a few photos
with you...

Obviously my desk... too cluttered for my liking
as I am still waiting for my shelves
and rails etc to be put up...
Only been waiting since July...
Maybe I could put that on my christmas list!!!

I am soooo excited to show you this...
After months and months of saying
that my Inktense pencils were all I need...
On Saturday, I went to a demonstration at
Crafty Bunch in Ketley, Telford.
Kathleen did an amazing job at demonstrating
promarkers... she is so talented and I came
away so inspired... and so broke!!!

Take a look at Kathleen's blog...

Anyway... when I arrived home, I realised I
needed somewhere to store my new promarkers...
I hadn't got the car... so I needed to recycle...
After a bit of playing... I made a template out of beer mats.

I worked out I needed to make 9 pots
(for the different colour groups).
I used my mind's eye papers to cover them
in the corresponding colours...
I sanded the edges and bound them together with ribbon...
I then attatched a colour chart onto each...
I really enjoyed making these and I have been
so busy that I haven't had a chance to
have much of a go with the pens...

I would love to know what you think...

This is a card that I have made using bloom and grow
papers and various flowers distressed with stickles.
Anyway... thanks for looking...
I am off to do some tidying...
then maybe put up the decorations...
I'm sure I will find some time this evening
to have a play with those promarkers!!!
Have a lovely day...
